ACT Spotlight on 30
Shining a spotlight on 30 ACT alum in honor of ACT's 30th!
A NOTE FROM ACT: Dearest ACT alum, Our #3 ACT Spotlight is on Jamarl D. Clark, '07. I wasn't fortunate enough to work with Jamarl when he was a member of the ACT Team as a Peer Counselor (now Service Advisor), but Jamarl is one of those people who you FEEL like you've known forever because the legacy of excellence and innovation he left behind. I was lucky our paths crossed when he was serving as an Americorps volunteer with North Carolina Campus Compact after his graduation. The Department of Engagement and Leadership hosted Jamarl as a guest speaker at our Leaders of Distinction Awards ceremony, so we thought we would take this opportunity to shine a spotlight on his work and amazing accomplishments in the non-profit sector. Read below for his full story...and stay tuned for future alumni spotlights...ACT love, Kate
