Thank you to everyone who made The Gobbler 2012 a huge success!

Runner, race results are now available!

ACT’s 2nd annual 5K drew almost 300 runners who started off Appalachian's big game day with a jaunt through Boone and campus in the unusually gorgeous weather on Saturday December 1st. Runner munched on warm cobbler while awaiting times to be posted and prizes to be awarded. 

A very special thank you to Boone Police, ASU Police, Watauga Rescue Squad, Student Government Association whose hard work and generosity was key to making this event happen amidst the Boone Christmas parade and tailgating for the football game. Once again ACT is reminded of what a special community we get to be a part of!

All money raised will benefit ACT’s scholarship for international service-learning named after late ASU student, Leigh Lane Edwards, and the Community Care Clinic.
