Faculty & Staff
One of the best ways that Appalachian and community function together is through the incorporation of service-learning and community-based research into the University's curriculum. By bringing these methods of teaching into your classroom, you help students develop a belief that they can have an impact on their world, while simultaneously bringing course concepts to life and increasing the likelihood the material will be learned deeply.
