Thank you for visiting our website! Dance Marathon is one of the largest student-run fundraising events on Appalachian's campus. Since our first Dance Marathon in 2003, we have raised over $160,000 for kids in the High Country of Western North Carolina.

The event is a fun and unforgettable experience for everyone! Dancers can register with a club/organization, with a team of friends, or as an individual. Students dance for 15 hours to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, Western Youth Network, and Parent to Parent Family Support Network; three outstanding non-profits that provide essential services to kids in our community. Participants do their best to raise $150 (a goal $10/hour of dancing) for the kids, using easy fundraising methods & opportunities that the committee provides. The event is packed with fun activities, loads of food, great entertainment, and a lot of awesome dancing!
