Final Few Days in India

The final two weeks, I have been working with the Anti-Trafficking department. There are many different aspects about the trafficking issue that MCCSS do to prevent trafficking from occurring, to rescue victims, and to spread knowledge of this immoral crime. It was overwhelming to learn all these things at once.

The End of Second and beginning of third week in India

It took me about a week to settle down in India. The city I am in is so much different than what I expected. Chennai feels like a big dirty city. The smell of pollution, the noise of overcrowded motor vehicles on the streets, and the sight of being surrounded by Indians were overwhelming at first. People are not mean, but they frown most of the time. I understood why when I first was strolling around the streets. It is hot and smelly. I was in a culture shock for a couple of days. Chennai is much different from the touristy areas and maybe that is what I expected.
