This blog entry is the first of many as I am preparing for my semester abroad in South Africa.  Essentially almost everyday I have something to do pertaining to my trip.  Recently I've been in daily contact with people at UFS just emailing back and forth with certain questions about the upcoming semester as well as what I need to do before I go.  I am currently working on getting a study permit, which should be the last major requirement I need to take care of before I leave.  I will be leaving in exactly one month and it certainly hasn't sunk in yet.  I can
